Ravenna is most easily reached by roads and motorways. Ravenna can be reached from the north by the Q14 motorway from Bologna, the meeting point for motorway 1 "del Sole", the Q21 Turin-Piacenza and the A22 from Brennero. When coming from the south, as well as the motorways 1 and 14, it’s worth noting the Superstrada E45 which crosses the Apennines and linksRavenna with Rome and the state road 16 Adriatica. It takes between one and two hours to reach Ravenna by car or train from Bologna, about two hours by car from Venice and less than an hour from either Forlì or Rimini.
